How to sync your cycle with the Moon cycle
Aligning with the Moon cycle is an invitation to step into & live from your feminine. Allow yourself to be curious & trust your body’s desire to live in alignment with nature’s cycles; the seasons, menstruation & the Moon.
When you begin to establish a relationship with the Moon cycle, you release the pressure of consistency around your energy levels, emotional waves & even physical symptoms as they rise & fall. We learn to trust our bodies cyclical nature & maximise our energy.
How do we begin to sync with the Moon?
I suggest to keep it simple by only following the New & Full Moons.
Understand the Moon is feminine & so is the body - spend time connecting to these natural beauties. Love yourself, love the Moon.
Journal the moon phase, what season your cycle is in & how your emotion’s & energy are feeling.
Invite more of the feminine into your day, do this by slowing down & allowing yourself to receive pleasure by ritualising everyday activities, e.g. feminine music whilst in the shower, picking flowers for the kitchen before you clean up, affirmations in the mirror after you brush your teeth etc.
Ground outside under the Moonlight especially under the Full Moon.
Move your body in a way that brings you joy & pleasure.
Begin to notice & heal patterns that suppress your feminine.
Rest on day one &/or day two of your cycle. Let your body know it can trust you to rest when you need it.
Rest on the New Moon & give your body space to release what is coming up.
Rest on the Full Moon if your body needs to, particularly if it’s a big Moon with lots to release. Then go play!
Listen & act upon your body wisdom/intuition (even if it sounds weird), you will liberate yourself through this process.
Embody & connect to your womb, vagina, vulva & breasts from a place of reverence, curiosity, love & beauty. Acknowledge & experience the wisdom, creation energy & pleasure available to you through being in a female body.
Begin to address symptoms that are common but not normal for your cycle. e.g. eating anti inflammatory foods during your autumn & winter phases of your cycle to reduce pressure on the liver & reduce fatigue.
Get out into nature - nature that lights up your soul!
Deepen your knowledge & embodiment of the divine feminine, allow your curiosity & intuition to lead you.
You can see the correlation between syncing your cycle to the Moon & allowing rest & creating space for the feminine. The Moon acts as a natural check in time for your emotional & energetic regulation. Slowly build the rituals that resonate and create space in your life for the feminine to flow & let’s be honest, do what the fuck she wants. Learn with each cycle. She will respond. Trust your rhythm. You are worthy.
